Lionel "Leo" Messi was born in 24th June 1987 and an Argentine footballer who currently plays for FC Barcelona in Spain. Messi is the captain of his country, Argentina and mainly plays as a striker.

Messi playing style has been likened to Diego Maradona, who is considered one of the best players of all time, but Messi is on track to become perhaps even greater than his compatriot.
