Barcelona ended the first league match having a sweet 5-1 victory over Real Sociedad. This will be an excellent start for Tito Vilanova’s squad, while they lead 2 points inside the standings after their rival Real Madrid finished their first having a 1-1 draw against Valencia.
Lionel Messi scored 2 goals in the match, while David Villa made his opening match after months of injury by contributing one goal.
